A piece of cake is Something straightforward to make. 

 Taking a bath is a piece of cake for me; I like to take a bath. It’s so easy. 

 Break the ice. Breaking the ice means starting a conversation in a social setting. It implies that when we go to a party or a function, we are strangers, and nobody is talking to each other. So, at that time, if you start the Conversation, that means you’re breaking the ice.

Hit the books. It means studying hard and you hit the books every day, whether you study hard or not.
